Within FUNimation’s January 1st newsletter, there’s a preview of what’s to come from them on DVD in the first half of 2005. Included are Full Metal Alchemist Volume 1 on February 8th, Dragonball Z‘s 10th movie (Broly: Second Coming) on April 5th, and what they call Dragonball Z: Ultimate Uncut Special Editions on April 12th. Notice the use of a plural. Could it be the first two volumes of the Uncut Saiyan & Namek sagas, or will all the volumes be released in a boxed set? I guess we have to wait a little longer for that answer.. π¦

Last night, I stayed up once again (and quite late this time) to transfer another Rocko episode to VHS. I also transferred another 90mins of Degrassi TNG. Tape 1 is is almost full. :p ..In the morning, I discover that I’ve unsuccessfully tried to take over my dad’s quest to get a second cell phone. He planned for it to take the place of the current land line phone that’s due to be shut off any day now. And with him choosing what phone we’ll get, it’ll most likely be some piece of crap with barely any features at all. He really never meant for it to be mine. Oh well. I give up. *sigh* ..We also couldn’t get the phone because my dad can’t afford it. The bills are coming up, and didn’t get that unemployment check didn’t come in today. So now he suspects the mailman put it in the wrong box (specifically, the druggie’s next door). And no mail tomorrow because of the damn holiday. Ugh.. I slept for a good part of the morning. My dad woke me in time for Passions, which was one wild episode today. I hope Liz was poisoned.. and it looks like she was. Yay. After that, I watched / taped today’s new episodes of The Tribe. Awesomeness. π Then, I rampaged in San Andreas some more (as well as some burglaring and road tripping.. whee). I turned it off once my dad returned with another fast food supper. *shrug* Then the relatives called to invite my dad to their New Years’ Eve festivities. No mind asking if I want to go. Just leave me here, all alone.. all night.. With all this time to myself, I decided to watch that Maxim Swimsuit DVD that I haven’t found the time to watch. In the end, I was disappointed. The best part had to be that whole Hiroki three-part manga parody thing. :p Beyond that, there wasn’t much.. Then I got online for a while. Before I knew it, it was 10PM. At that point I just started watching parts of all the various New Years’ programming. Man, Regis is annoying. And I watched his countdown too. *yawn*
What a year 2004 has been. My life this year has been mostly endless and forgettable bullshit, like years past. And the free world has stepped quite a bit more towards its final bow, thanks to Bush and his puppeteers. At least this horrible planet hasn’t blown up yet… Hopefully, 2005 will actually be a year to remember. Happy New Year everyone.. and see ya.
