[Current Music Download|Snow Patrol – Open Your Eyes @ SendSpace]

Kyl416 has revealed the next Power Ranger Jungle Fury episode title and description. Episode 1812: “One Master Too Many” is likely to premiere on Toon Disney May 12th. So it seems this is the episode in which the Purple Wolf Ranger first appears. This should be interesting..

PRJF Episode: 1812 – “One Master Too Many” – Writer: David Garber – RJ is hurt to hear that Casey wants a new master. RJ tells him the master coming is not right for him. While battleing Crustaceo, the rangers run into Casey’s new master, Master Finn. RJ reveals that Master Finn is his father. Master Finn trains an eager Casey who learns all about the shark technique. Through a battle, Dai Shi corners Master Finn. RJ uses his wolf spirit to protect his dad. Master Finn is proud of what his son has become.

Another new Jetix schedule is coming, with the last one only starting tomorrow, on April 1st. This new one takes effect on May 26th, and I bet some things are subject to change. Well, I hope so anyway. New episodes of Power Rangers Jungle Fury will be shifted to Mondays at 10:30PM ET. Ack. Meanwhile, the 1990s Spider-Man animated series (that begins tomorrow) stays where it is and the Silver Surfer & X-Men animated series join the line-up weekdays starting at 11PM ET. And The Avengers, Fantastic Four and Spider-Man Unlimited will all be joining the weekend line-up. Whoa.. But there’s always a down side. All Power Rangers is gone from the schedule except for two Jungle Fury timeslots. Ugh. :/

MarioRanger, webmaster of PowerRangersWorld.com, has revealed the official cover art for the May 19th German DVD release of Power Rangers Zeo: The Complete Season to Rangerboard. Cooool. Like the keeping of the button the spine, now reading “Season IV”. I cannot wait to own this. :p

ABC has announced eight new craptacular reality series for their summer season. Blah. The only one I’m barely interested in is High School Musical: Summer Sessions, which premieres on July 20th. It’s a casting session reality show.. but they refuse to actually say what they’re casting for. :/

I awoke pretty early in the morning, at like 4AM.. after falling asleep really early on the couch the night before. Damnit. I got online and finished up the previous LJ entry, then listened to some mp3s. I also got a new CD together. I’ll just upload/download it over to the new computer and burn it. DVD burners do burns CDs too right? :p ..Once that was done, I returned the the living room, had some breakfast, watched some morning TV.. and fell asleep. I awoke in time for Ellen, then watched The Whitest Kids U’Know (lol.. getting close to a Season 1 DVD purchase, believe it or not), Zoey 101 (lol) and Simpsons (lol, especially @ the “too easy to get cigarettes” joke.. it felt weird watching this during the day).

I was then quite surprised when the regular mailman didn’t deliver MMPR Season 3. Well, there goes my theory. And today was Amazon’s estimated due date. And now my dad’s thinking that someone else could have gotten it while the idiot mailman was delivering on Friday/Saturday. 😦 ..So with nothing better to do, I wasted all afternoon looking over the various crap on the DVR and deleting a little.. then finally getting Greek to transfer t o tape completely. About time. Sheesh.

Once that was taken care of, it was already 5PM. I returned to my room and got online to news-gather. We had some supper, then I finished up online rather close to 8PM. We watched Big Bang Theory (lol), How I Met Your Mother (lol, great episode), Two & A Half Men (lol.. I was surprised that they got away with some of those jokes), Old Christine (lol) and CSI Miami (wow, some episode.. was surprised by Brendan Fehr’s return.. looking forward to part 2 tomorrow)..

I returned to my room and got online for a while, but then returned later in order to watch the new episode of Power Rangers Jungle Fury — 1808: “Way Of The Master”. Hmm, this one actually wasn’t all that bad. I guess. Master Phant was pretty cool, though I now doubt that any of these masters will actually morph during the series. :p And Flit stfu long enough for me to enjoy parts of the megazord fight anyway. His talking is just too distracting to me. The mace was pretty cool, as was the elephant zord..

And that was about it. I’m so bored. -_- See ya..

Sunday 03.30.2008 — still bored..

March 30, 2008

I awoke at 5AM.. because I had fallen asleep during the new episode of MadTV the night before. I pretty quickly watched Bleach (eh, pretty good I guess) & Death Note (awesome episode.. loved every second.. glad to see the series’ quality improving again), then looked through the newspaper’s ads for.. Thursday? I’m not sure. My only definite purchase is now in doubt, so.. yeah..

With barely anything else to watch, I let my dad watch some news. But then we watched Steve Byrne’s Happy Hour from last night.. and we both fell asleep.. Upon waking up, I watched some X-Play to grab the last GTA IV trailer on DVR. I’m now seriously thinking about buying this game upon release.. and then maybe buying the cheapest PS3 with the help of my economic stimulus check in early May.. Must have this game. Noew.

After some time online, I went to the bedroom DVR and watched Torchwood (“From Out Of The Rain”.. eh, it was alright) and Day Break (great episode). Then I got back online for a while. I checked out DVDAf and found out they’ve finally added the option to set how many titles appear on a page, then I added some titles into my blu-ray wish list. :p

We had a crappy supper due to our dwindling amount of food, then watched Funniest Videos. Oh, it’s a rerun. So I soon changed it over and watched H2O (yay, beginning it early again.. I’m liking the show, even though this particular episode didn’t focus on the girls enough, heh.. it reminds me of that awesome Tomorrow People remake.. just because there’s teens with powers, the PAL-NTSC conversion fuzziness.. and it airs on Nickelodeon :p ..I should look for Tomorrow People on DVD)..

With barely anything to watch tonight, I chose to watch another of my unwatched DVDs — Godzilla (1998). I liked.. parts of it. It probably would have been better if they stuck to the source material and not so much change it into a damn Jurassic Park rip-off. But I’ve never really seen the original Japanese films, so.. yeah.. lol @ how the film’s wikipedia article mentions how the Japanese films disowned American Godzilla. Maybe I should check them out someday. Hmm..

After the film, we watched Unhitched (lol.. season finale after just five episodes? ugh.. pretty good episode though).. then I returned to my room for the night.. I am so glad this incredibly boring weekend went by so fast. Now bring me MMPR Season 3 tomorrow, real mailman. Pleeease..

See ya.

Saturday 03.29.2008 — so bored… thanks, mailman!

March 29, 2008

I awoke in the morning and watched some of my dad’s MadTV reruns. But then I took over and watched TMNT Lost Episodes (wow, awesome episode.. definitely my favorite one so far), The Spectacular Spider-Man (another very good episode.. It’d be nice if Sony or whoever released these first 13 episodes on a “Season 1 Part 1” DVD in the fall before the new second half..? *shrug*) and Transformers Animated (also pretty damn good, for this series.. but still the lowest of the three this morning). I eventually watched some Hannah Montana (*blinks*).. after finding there was nothing else to watch..

The mail arrived.. without MMPR Season 3 again. My dad even confirmed it was that damn “bare minimum delivery” mailman again today too, since the regular guy is on vacation. It’s probably been at the post office since Thursday or Friday, but this mailman is just too damn lazy. This substitute always has been. Grrrrr.. And then my dad discovered that his brake line has.. sprung a leak. Now he can’t go anywhere until he can afford to fix it on Tuesday. He usually goes out for food about every other day by this point in the month, so there’s little left. 😦

We finally sat back and watched The Mist. Awesome movie. I loved it. And especially the movie-exclusive ending that some bitched about. I’m very proud to own the two-disc collector’s edition DVD. Maybe someday I’ll even watch the black-and-white “director’s cut” version (it’s the same as the color version.. only the director mentioned it is his “director’s cut” in the intro to it). The Drew Struzan featurette got me interested in tracking down his Power Rangers SPD poster online once the film was over, but no luck. Though I did find this article about the woman who was driving the day of Thuy Trang’s fatal car accident. The accident paralyzed her and she’s now a spokesperson for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

I was online for a while, then we had some supper. After that, I went to my bedroom DVR and watched Futurama: Bender’s Big Score (lol.. but not really as good as I remember the series being), tonight’s two episodes of Naruto (yay.. pretty much live for once), Blue Dragon (eh. *yawn* I guess I’ll give it one more episode before I give it up).. and then tried out Samurai Jack (CN is restarting it from the beginning, I guess? ..I lost interest rather quick though). I got back online.. and that’s about it..?

See ya.

pr take flight / today

March 28, 2008

Power Rangers fan community veteran Joe Rovang has begun a pretty original form of Power Rangers fan fiction. Power Rangers: Take Flight is a series of 40 episodic screenplays (with screencaps) that translates 1991’s sentai series Jetman into a 1992 season of Power Rangers. The series’ first four episodes are online now, with another new episode “airing” each week. Coool. 🙂

I awoke in the morning and got online for a bit.. while transferring Reaper from DVR to VHS. And then I remembered how I didn’t finish yesterday’s entry and did so. Ewps. I then listened to some mp3s.. and my dad from dialysis. Once the mail arrived with nothing once again (damn substitute mailman.. he delivers barely nothing at all every time it’s his turn.. we got a check in the mail a day late before because of his BS), I watched Ellen (I didn’t know today was new, so yeah) and Smokin’ Aces (great movie, swhy I bought it cheap after netflixing.. but I’m running out of unwatched movie DVDs to watch 😦 .. better be here tomorrow).

Once it was over, I returned to my room and got online to news-gather. We had some supper, then I finished up online rather close t o8PM. And since there was barely anything on TV tonight, we watched another of my purchased-after-Netflix DVDs — The Invisible. I loved this movie when I rented it.. and I did again tonight. And not only that, but now I want the soundtrack too. There were some good songs in the movie. :p I also noticed how Justin Chatwin does have a similar facial structure to Goku. Too bad the US will have to wait until April 2009 for Dragon Ball though.. while Japan gets it first. Ha.. After the film, we watched Free Radio (rofl) and The Soup (lol).

Upon returning to my room, I learn that The Invisible soundtrack was only released as an MP3 download. Ugh. 😦 I would probably buy a CD version, but now I guess I’ll just download the ones I want illegally.. See ya.

no news / today

March 27, 2008

I awoke in the morning and got online for a bit. We then had some breakfast and watched some of the boring morning TV. Well, my dad did. I ended up staying online all morning. I was bored and eventually found where the Jetix website’s Jungle Fury photos were hidden. Photos 1-14 are shown on the site in flash, but a 15th photo (of the villains) isn’t yet. :p And here’s a couple more that were locked in flash. Still can’t get this PROO printable out though. :/

So once my dad saw what he wanted of the news, he took off again. Not long after he returned the mail arrived. And then we watched my next Netflix selection — Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom. I liked it, though not as much as the first movie. Eh, don’t really like dumbing down of movies in the middle of series so it can better suit a family audience. :/ Haha’s @ Cafe Obi Wan.. Now I’d like to see Young Indy too. But I prefer not to clog up my Neflix with it, so I’ll probably wait until History Channel’s Saturday morning cycle gets back around to the beginning. :p I watched UFO Hunters.. and pretty much fell asleep during it. And it was a pretty good episode too. Damn. Now I must keep it on the DVR a little longer. 😦

Once it ended, I returned to my room and got online to news-gather. We had some supper, then I finished up online before 7PM. I went to the bedroom DVR and watched Monday’s New Amsterdam (I’m starting to see improvement in this show.. nice). And then at 8PM, we watched Smallville (omg awesome pseudo finale.. O_O @ the ending.. and my guesses were true: they postponed these episodes to edit this non-finale.. some parts that probably were in this episode will now be in the next episode on April 17th.. I kept seeing the signs that something was going to happen, then it didn’t happen.. then I saw what I thought was going to happen in the next episode promo :p), Reaper (this must’ve been intended to be a finale too.. it felt a bit hastily put together.. but it may just be my favorite episode of the series so far 🙂 ) and two episodes of Miss Guided (lol). Then I returned to my room.

See ya.

prjf bts & parade / pr zeo dvd art / titans & batman s5 dvds / robot chicken star wars delay / today

March 26, 2008

Some behind-the-scenes Power Rangers Jungle Fury photos have been discovered on Flickr. This one features the upcoming Purple Ranger. Cool. But most of the other ones discovered are from Mystic Force..

The Jungle Fury Blue Ranger has now been added to the daily Power Rangers parade float at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And check out the link for some cool pics of all the Rangers featured in the parade. 🙂

Also, a tiny version of the DVD cover art for the German Power Rangers Zeo: The Complete Season has been found. I like it.. except for that swoosh thingy at the bottom. But it’s what’s inside that counts, right?

On July 22nd, Warner Home Video will release Teen Titans: The Complete Fifth Season & The Batman: The Complete Fifth Season. They will both go for the retail price of $19.98 each and are each series’ final seasons. Check out the links for their respective cover arts..

Warner’s DVD release of Robot Chicken: Star Wars has now been pushed back over two months, from May 20th to.. July 22nd. Hmm. I sense a pattern. 😦 ..Are they compiling more special features? Or maybe they want to release it alongside the next season of the series? *shrug* No reason was given.. Edit: TheDigitalBits — “According to Video Business, this was done to coordinate the release with summer convention promotional opportunities (think San Diego Comic-Con), and to tie the release close to the theatrical debut of the CG animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars film on 8/15.” Ah, now we see. :p

So as the previous entry pointed out, I awoke at about 3:30AM to the cat being all excited over seeing another cat outside. My dad soon woke up as well.. then I eventually got online for a bit. My dad eventually took off to dialysis, then I transferred Gossip Girl to tape. It wasn’t until I had gotten it completely on the tape before I realized they changed the schedule and skipped an episode on Monday night. Gawdamnit. -_-

I sat down for a bit.. and I fell asleep for a few hours. My dad returned from dialysis and watched Ellen, then I soon woke up. Not long after the mail arrived (guess), we went out to a grocery store. But I didn’t get all that much. I’m about broke.. until next Thursday.. Ack. We returned home and watched Beowulf: Director’s Cut. Yup, I finally watched it. I was unsure if I would enjoy it after not liking 300 all that much. But it was great. I liked it a lot. My dad was liking it.. but then I told him it was animation and he gave up on it. Prejudiced ass. :p I guess this wasn’t that big of a hit though. The crew behind this are going back to lighter fare: Jim Carrey starring in a 3D-animated A Christmas Carol. Heh. Now I wish I had gotten the FYE steelbook for this. The movie definitely deserved it..

Once it ended, I got online to news-gather. We had some supper, then I finished up online by 8PM. We watched Moment of Truth (eh..), Greek (pretty good mid-season premiere, I guess), South Park (rofl) and Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil (eh.. again). Then I just returned to my room for the night.

See ya.

dvd ads mar 30-apr 5 / spidey returns / prison break s4 / himym ratings / media / today

March 25, 2008

Click the corresponding retailer for their ad for the week of March 30th to April 5th: Best Buy, Target & Circuit City. Another week where there isn’t all that many major new releases coming out. I’m on the fence over a blind purchase of Sweeney Todd, whose two-disc is going for $22.99 at all three stores. Only Best Buy will include movie money to see The Ruins, and Transworld (Suncoast, FYE etc) has a steelbook for the release. Best Buy seems to have an awesome sale on anime boxed sets though — 50% off select releases. Now if only I didn’t own all the series I’m interested in that are featured in the ad. But it claims that the titles vary by store, so I’ll most likely check it out anyway. 🙂

Effective April 1st, the 1990s Spider-Man animated series makes its return to the Jetix line-up. It will air weekdays at 7:30AM & 7PM ET (same episode each day), as well as a seperate airing cycle weekends at 5:30PM ET. No doubt it’s returning due to the good ratings The Spectacular Spider-Man has been getting over on Kids’ WB. Coool. I only got to see / tape the first season before they pulled it off the schedule, so I’m looking forward to this. 🙂

FOX has issued a press release announcing that Prison Break will return for a fourth season this fall. They also made note that after Season 1 was filmed in Chicago and Seasons 2 & 3 were filmed in Dallas, Season 4 will now be filmed in Los Angeles. Heh..

How I Met Your Mother scored series high ratings on Monday night. Could it have possibly been due to the guest appearance by.. Scrubs‘ Sarah Chalke? We may never know…

I awoke in the morning and switched the computers back, then got online for a bit. But after that, I got ready and soon headed out to media buy…

First, I headed to Best Buy and picked up The Mist. To tell you the truth, I might not have bought it blind if it weren’t for the black-and-white version of the film on Disc 2. That just hasn’t been done before (to a new release movie anyway).. I moved on to.. get a hot chocolate.. then went to the grocery store and Walgreens. I got some food to help out our suppers.. since my dad’s pretty close to broke for the remaining week of the month. 😦 And then we soon returned home.

My dad caught some news, then we watched Medium (wow, great episode.. and I wasn’t expecting that “TBC” to the very end.. nice 🙂 ). Once it was obvious my MMPR Season 3 DVD wasn’t arriving in the mail again today, I watched Appleseed Ex Machina. Pretty good movie. I liked it. I’m also looking forward to the series. 🙂 ..Not long after it was over, I got online to news-gather. We had some supper, then I finished up online close to 8PM.

We then watched.. Dancing With The Stars because nothing else was on. Well, mainly he did. Yuck. But then we watched The Soup Presents (lol), The Real Wedding Crashers (lol.. looking forward to the new ones that NBC never aired though) and ‘Til Death (lol). I returned to my room and got online for a while.. then returned to the living room and fell asleep..

I awoke at about 3:30AM to the sound of our cat above my head in the window. Another cat peeked up into the window, then jumped up.. and our cat went crazy. lol. It stayed up there for a while before taking off. Apparently, it was the cable-stealing / drug-dealing neighbor’s cat who gets out a lot. But right now, they seem to be in hiding.. and they just let the cat out, I guess. Well, my dad guesses. 😦

Well.. see ya.

prjf spoiler 11 / 4400 s4 features / dexter s2 date / today

March 24, 2008

KyL416 has revealed another Power Ranger Jungle Fury spoiler episode decription. Episode 1811: “Pushed To The Edge” is likely to air on May 5th at 8PM ET.

PRJF Episode: 1811 – “Pushed To The Edge” – Writer: Jackie Marchand – Carnisoar’s training tactics become even more ruthless. Camille can’t bear to watch and is dismissed from the temple. Theo and Casey think Lily is too nice. Always looking for the brighter side of things, Lily inadvertently helps out Camille and inspires her to find a new boss. Camille frees Jellica, the Water Overlord, to replace Carnisoar. Theo tells a hurt Lily that she should never feel bad about being nice.

TVShowsOnDVD now has special feature details on the May 6th DVD release of The 4400: The Complete Fourth Season. The final season’s DVD set will include a couple featurettes, some deleted scenws, a gag reel and a director’s cut version of the now-series-finale episode “The Great Leap Forward”. Can’t wait for this one. So sad to see it go though. 😦

TVShowsOnDVD also has a DVD release date for Dexter: The Second Season — August 19th. I has a feeling that’s when it would be released. I don’t have Showtime, so I cannot wait to see this now that I have seen the first season on DVD..

I awoke in the morning.. and got online to post yesterday’s entry. Oops. And then I began uploading a lot of files. And then I switched back to the new computer and downloaded them a lot more quickly than I had uploaded them. Hm. My dad went somewhere. When he returned, we had breakfast and watched Ellen (oh, rerun.. damnit). Then I watched The Whitest Kids U’Know (lol), last night’s two episodes of Unhitched (lol), H2O (nice).. and an episode of Ninja Nonsense on DVD (lol.. it reminds me of BoBoBo). The mail.. without MMPR Season 3 yet again. Ugh. 😦

I got online at one point and began torrenting Spectacular Spider-Man because I was considering burning some DVDs soon. But then neither Winamp or WMP could play the video. Just the audio. Ugh. But then I installed the xvid thing and.. yeah.. Later, I got online and news-gathered, then had some supper.. Then I had problems with utorrent. I guess I didn’t open the port it wanted me to open upon install, so it rewarded me with disconnects for as long as I was using it.. all night.. Yay.

At 8PM, we watched Big Bang Theory (lol.. this one may have just reached DVD purchase potential.. hm), How I Met Your Mother (lol, great episode), Two & A Half Men (lol.. yay Rose is back.. and Lost Galaxy‘s Cerina Vincent made two appearances as well), New Adventures of Old Christine (lol) and CSI Miami (pretty good episode.. I missed this show somewhat). And then I returned to my room.

But later that night, I returned to the living room and watched the new episode of Power Rangers Jungle Fury — episode 1807: “Pizza Slice Of Life”. Eh, it was alright I guess. *shrug* I liked how Camille got some character development.. or story or whatever. I just wish we had more devlopment on the actual rangers than just this basic “friendships tested” stuff every week. But at least there was no megazord battle.. meaning no Flit. Hooray. And yay @ the masters episodes starting next week. Looking forward to them. :p

Well.. see ya. I’m getting off this thing and back to my old PC again ASAP.. after I post this. Maybe I’ll come back to it when I buy some blank DVDs for the episodes I’ve torrented today..? *shrugs*

Sunday 03.23.2008 — …wut? today’s easter?

March 23, 2008

I awoke in the morning and looked through the newspaper’s ads for Tuesday. As expected, there was barely anything at all. I’ll have t o check out Best Buy & Target‘s websites later for their ads.. I then took over the TV and watched Bleach (I was pretty bored by it.. except for the chick fight.. nice), Blood Plus (wow, great finale), Death Note (cool, pretty good episode again) and South Park: Imaginationland (*shrug* it was okay.. though I liked the “ManBearPig” bonus episode the most). We had some breakfast during all that, then my dad fell asleep..

Afterward, I got online for a while. And then I went over to the bedroom DVR and watched last night’s episodes of Torchwood (“Something Borrowed”.. eh, pretty good) and Naruto (pretty good as well.. lol @ the ending). But after those, I ran out of stuff t o watch on the DVR. I might as well wait for Chuck on DVD now. I have every single episode on the bedroom DVR because I was unable to DVR-and-VCR them on the living room TV. But I’ve only watched the first episode on that Blockbuster NBC preview DVD. :p

I got back online and checked out some info on Spectacular Spider-Man. They have some great voice casting coming up. Tricia Helfer as Black Cat, Peter MacNicol at Doc Ock. Wow. The first half of the first season will be airing up to episode 113 in May. The rest will most likely air in the fall. And I’ve heard that the black symbiote saga will be a three-or-four-parter at the end of the season. 🙂 I’m already looking forward to the DVDs.. because the reception on my CW affiliate sucks ass..

Once I was done online, I returned to the living room and watched Funniest Videos (oh, rerun), Zoey 101 (heh.. damn them for screwing up my DVRing of H2O.. with their extra bullshit, it started five minutes early.. then ended pretty much on time -_- ..at least I got the whole thing on Nick2 later), I Am Legend on DVD (cool movie, lame amount of special features.. those better be all the animated comics, because those were cool.. but it probably isn’t *double dip*) and Aliens in America (ah, this must’ve been the season finale..).

And not long after that, I returned to my room for the night. Damn, that was a quick weekend. But I’m glad it’s over. Closer to Tuesday. I’m looking forward to The Mist. And is Sweeney Todd any good? I’m still on the fence about that one next week (April 1st). Hmm.. See ya.

March 22, 2008

I awoke in the morning.. and took over the TV right away.. as my dad took a long nap. I watched TMNT Lost Episodes (this one aired almost a year ago.. and I kept it on the DVR in case they skipped it or something :p ..pretty good episode). Then after a break, I watched Spectacular Spider-Man (best episode yet, awesome), Transformers Animated (eh, not bad) and Witchblade (pretty good.. wow @ ending). I then had a very hard time finding anything to watch. And then MMPR Season 3 still didn’t arrive in the mail. 😦

I got online for a bit. But once my dad returned from a few errands, I chose to watch Southland Tales. This was supposed to be a comedy..? Wow. I only laughed like three or four times, and most of them were loud-and-quickly-over kind. Through most of the first two hours, I wasn’t hating it.. but wasn’t really liking it all that much either. But the ending was pretty good, in my opinion. Maybe I’ll enjoy the less-bare-bones Director’s Cut DVD that Richard Kelly already admitted was coming.. more. I’m still glad I purchased it though.. even though it was pretty weird. :p

Once we were done with the DVD, I got back online for a bit. We soon had some supper, then I went to the bedroom DVR and watched two episodes of Naruto (from last Saturday, ack.. *drools @ nude Hinata* great episodes too.. I’ve missed Hinata :p), two episodes of Day Break (I was a bit bored by it.. only because I’m watching episodes I’ve already seen to refresh myself before the TV premiere episodes) and two episodes of Miss Guided (lol.. but Jamie Lynn wasn’t in it enough 😦 ). Then I got back online..

And that’s about it. See ya.
