AnimationInsider reports on the end of Jetix on ABC Family. The final day of Jetix programming on ABC Family is scheduled for Friday, September 1st. You will have to catch the new episodes of your favorite series on Toon Disney or ABC’s Saturday morning line-up from then on. I prefer Toon Disney anyway, since I get it in much clearer than ABC Family. But the new bit of news would be that Toon Disney’s Jetix line-up will expand once again this fall. Coool..

DVDActive has more details on the October 3rd DVD release of X-Men: The Last Stand. They match what DavisDVD reported, but they got cover art for all three releases. Even though the Collector’s Edition doesn’t have a second disc and the whole thing looks very much like a double dip trick.. I’ll probably get the CE anyway. And if what I hear about the film not being all that great is true, it’ll be my only purchase of it anyway. *shrug*

It looks to me like the Limited Edition version of Full Metal Alchemist: The Movie – The Conquerer Of Shamballa may not be released anytime soon after all. The July 23-29 issue of Home Media Retailing has an ad for the DVD release with no mention whatsoever of the Limited Edition. RightStuf moved up the standard DVD to the new release date of September 12th, but didn’t do so to the Limited Edition. Maybe FUNimation plans to do a double dip at some point later instead? *shrug* By the way, the cover art in the retailer ad looked a lot better than that seen at RightStuf, with a bunch of character faces all piled up in the center. 🙂

TheDigitalBits reports that Disney has set an October 24th DVD release date for Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior, the Disney Channel Original Movie featuring some Power Rangers alums both in front of and behind the cameras. 🙂

Continuing their series of article pointing out changes in the Star Wars films, DVDActive’s Chris Gould now shows the changes to Episodes I, II & III. 🙂

I was having a dream about playing a set-top DVD game. :p I awoke a bit early in the morning to the cat moewing.. at my dad for some reason. Then I discovered my glasses finally broke. Perfect start to the day. We had some of what little food we have left in the house for breakfast, then watched some morning TV. We also watched last night’s Simple Life (rofl, funniest episode this season, don’t miss it). After my dad took off on another hospital appointment, I played with the cat a little and got online.. for a bit. Then I watched.. Spike’s Women of Action for some reason ( >_> ), followed by two more DVD episodes of Full Metal Alchemist (35 & 36.. awesome.. but crap, I’m catching up to the new DVDs too fast :p).

Once that was over, I got online nearly two hours early and news-gathered. I finished up just as my dad returned home. We had some supper and watched Passions (lol @ Tabitha’s narrating getting worse.. she’s talking directly at the camera now!). After a little while, I returned to my room and watched The Girls Next Door (I was so bored with it, I didn’t even watch the whole thing.. it’s like Simple Life, but without the scripted hilarity 😦 ).

When 8PM came around we watched Kyle XY (very good episode.. I hope that kid will finally shut the hell up about him being an alien now). But the VCR wouldn’t cooperate. It would record the new episode. My dad went outside after it was over and I thought he would be awhile. So I began taping Kyle XY.. then he came back in. He got tired of it all and headed to bed early. Once the recording was done, I watched an hour of Whose Line (lol), followed by Oban Star-Racers (also pretty good). Once that was over, I returned to my room for the night.

See ya.

[Current Music Download|Nine Days – End Up Alone (my theme song) @ SendSpace]

I had to reboot last night, then I fell asleep before I could finish last night’s entry. Argh. 😦

While my dad fell asleep, I watched Samurai 7 (pretty good) and Eureka 7 (very weird episode.. had a hard time staying awake damnit *nods off* rewinds* *repeats*). We soon had some.. breakfast.. and I looked around for something to watch. Then I gave up and watched Avatar DVD episodes 15 & 16 (awesome). After all that, I ran out of crap to watch. I gave the TV back to my dad and I returned to.. here..

I was totally worried about this floppy disk I use just about every day when the computer wasn’t able to read it after a reboot. But then I noticed a tiny hair inside the disk, pulled it out.. and now everything’s fine. I wish I could make a backup but.. I just think it would be useless because I change the files every day. It holds DVD episode lists (to keep track of which ones I have), my shopping list (to which I add media releases when they’re announced), and a viewing schedule (to schedule the viewing of DVDs mostly). :p

After quite awhile wasted looking around online, I went to my bedroom DVR and watched Hex (pretty good), Who Wants To Be A Superhero? (interesting.. lol @ Stan Lee placing a framed picture of Stripperella right behind his chair as if it’s his biggest accomplishment or something), Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace (I DVRed this not knowing what it was… w..t..f? *delete*) and The Amazing Screw-On Head (I liked it.. too bad this is only a one time thing.. it’s more suited for Adult Swim than SciFi).

After some more time online (and supper), I returned to the living room and took over the TV while my dad was outside. I tried capturing Jetix’s new MST3k parody “Rabbit Takeover Theater” promo showcasing Mystic Force on DVR while watching some Funniest Videos. The promo’s on the Jetix Video Player, but I wanna put it on a MF tape.. At 9PM, I watched the new episode of The 4400 (great episode.. and next week looks even better.. I’ve read ahead on some spoilers, so I’m getting excited on what’s to come now.. only four episodes left already). My dad came in from outside and we watched Mind of Mencia (lol) and Reno 911! (lol, even the ending that they’ve sorta done before). Then I returned to my room for the night.

I won’t be able to media buy until Thursday. 😦 But at least my dad will be able to put a little food in the empty fridge on Tuesday.. See ya.

Saturday 07.29.2006 — the worst tmnt episode.. then the best mystic force episode!

July 29, 2006

Damnit. I should be in bed by now. I need to get up early in the morning. *runs off*

I awoke in the morning, soon had some breakfast, and watched whatever I could find for about two hours. Then I watched the premiere of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward. And.. no sir, I don’t like it. The style of animation looks a tiny bit different than the first four seasons. The turtles’ shades of green look different. 😦 And I don’t like how they tried to make it more like the original animated series. There’s bits of humor that I just found stupid. “Ruh Roh”?! This isn’t Scooby Doo! Up to this point, I had pretty much enjoyed every single TMNT 2k3 episode from beginning to end. But I only like bits and pieces of this one. I’m worried that 4Kids may have ruined their only series worth watching on the 4KidsTV block. -_- ..My dad took off during it. He’s going to the grocery store on some spare change he managed to bring together..

I could find absolutely nothing to watch on TV. So I played with the cat a little, then fell asleep on the couch for a bit. My dad returned, then slept for a bit too. Then he left somewhere. I eventually went to my room to watch the latest Blade: The Series (awesome episode). But now I’m bored again..

After some time online, I played X-Files: Resist or Serve for awhile. I had to keep consulting the walkthrough because it’s tough playing Scully and having to combine three chemicals into a zombie-killing toxin.. for some zombies that I soon learned I already killed with my cheat code powers. :p I shut it off for supper, then watched some other stuff until.. the new Power Rangers Mystic Force aired — 1622: “Heir Apparent” (I). omfg, it was so awesome. O_O Are we sure we’re getting 32 episodes and not 23? This one was so awesome, it felt like the start of a finale. :p It began with Nick sparring against Daggeron. Nick ends up winning. During a discussion, Chip accidentally spills the beans concerning Udonna’s husband. Udonna & Daggeron had sworn to keep it a secret. But I guess Daggeron let it slip during one of his archery lessons with him. Udonna tells them the entire story that we’ve only seen parts of up to this point. Meanwhile, Imperious is interrupted by Koragg before he could poison the Master. He sets a plan into motion. He tricks Koragg into attacking the Rangers for their Legend powers, saying the Master wants them. After one of Koragg’s mental messages to Nick, the Rangers meet him on the field of battle. Meanwhile, Imperious meets with Daggeron in an alternate dimension and a huge battle begins. He tricks Daggeron and steals his megazord power to raise evil forces from the dead in the form of one particularly ugly monster. Imperious seems to finish off Daggeron, then the monster interrupts Koragg’s fight with the Rangers. Imperious drags the Rangers down to the dark world, where they will be drained of their powers to help the Master’s rise to the surface. Here, the Rangers learn LeeLee’s true identity. Udonna discovers what has happened and uses a dark spellbook to pay the villains a visit, at the risk of losing her magic forever. She stops the power drain, then gets attacked by the Master himself. Seeing this, Koragg finally remembers who he really is — Udonna’s husband, Leanbow. He jumps forward and breaks the Master’s attack of red lightning. Koragg then transforms into his true human form, while Udonna looks on in surprise. To Be Continued… Next time — 1623: “Heir Apparent II”.. on Friday August 11th at 8PM ET. No promo was shown, of course. Why such a long break between such an awesome two-parter?! *pouts* 😦

We watched some Funniest Videos. But then my dad went outside as I watched Beyond the Break (finally.. heh @ the predictable ending) and Zatch Bell (lol). Then where was nothing to watch. So I looked around the channels, catching some Spongebob and Phil from the Future (oh, it’s that chick from The Veronicas.. yum). Then I watched BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo (lol.. teehee @ the sentai parody.. go Muscle Marshals! :p). After that, I just returned to my room.

Today, I’ve been thinking about what I should write next. I’m really aiming toward a next-gen Truth-Seekers series. Though I also thought of the possibility of making a new Power Rangers-esque series like that “Power Troopers” stuff I wrote ages ago. :p See ya.

[Current Music Download|Moby & Public Enemy – Make Love Fuck War (Clean) @ SendSpace]

20th Century Fox will release X-Men: The Last Stand on October 3rd. The 1-disc edition will include some basic special features (two commentaries, ten deleted scenes, three alternate endings, two easter eggs, trailers). The Collector’s Edition will be released the same day and include a 100-page commemorative book featuring a new story by Stan Lee. Get the 1-disc for $29.98 SRP, the CE for $39.98 SRP, and an X-Men trilogy boxed set for $44.98 SRP. I’ll only get the Collector’s Edition if there’s a second disc, thank you very much. Otherwise, they may be trying to trick us into double-dipping again.. >_>

Encore WAM has finally acquired and scheduled the fifth and final season of Edgemont. The episodes begin on Tuesday August 1st and will air at around 7:30AM ET & 5:30PM ET every single day (with a possible third airing some days at around 1:30PM ET). The season will most likely end on the 13th. So can’t wait to finally see these.. Encore WAM will also debut another anime series on August 1st, Samurai Deeper Kyo. The first episode will air at 6:30AM ET, with the second one following at 4:30PM ET. After that, expect one new episode each day at 4:30PM ET. 🙂

I stayed up quite again late last night online. I also read over Westmont High, another series of stories I’m considering continuing. But I saw how well it was done, then doubted I could continue it that well. 😦 Those next-gen Truth-Seekers are now looking more likely. I headed off to sleep sometime after 2AM.. I awoke past 10AM, had some breakfast, and watched some morning TV. Soon after my dad left for another hospital appointment, I got online for a bit. Later, I watched DVD episodes 13 & 14 of Avatar and some music videos. I eventually got bored of that and got online to news-gather a bit early. Then I was surprised to finish before my dad even came home.

My dad finally arrived at about 5:30. He was so late because the free taxi service he uses to save gas is crap. He gets there an hour early, then gets home late too. :/ We had some supper, watched Passions (lol @ Theresa’s “Listen up, Jared” *silence* *opening credits*), then my dad went off outside. I ended up sleeping with the cat on me for about an hour before dad’s return woke us up. We watched a Funniest Videos repeat and watched the whole thing to please him. When I went to tape Beyond the Break from the DVR recording.. of course they decided to air it four minutes early. Grrrrrrr.

I went to watch Whose Line. My dad can’t stand the show and knew this was on the rest of the night, so he went to sleep even before 10PM. At 10:30PM, I left that to watch The Soup (lol) & Best Week Ever (lol). Then I found that The N had decided to air Beyond the Break four minutes early yet again. I stopped that useless DVRing, got pissed when I discovered the next airing isn’t until tomorrow night, then stormed off to my room for the night.

*sigh* And the day was going so.. average too. 😐 See ya.

tmnt ff debut / lost experience / king kong ee / potter dvds disappear / today

July 27, 2006

Just a heads up. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward begins this Saturday morning on FOX’s 4KidsTV. Since the higher-ups forced the creators to make this season to try and boost toy sales, I’m more than a bit worried about its future..

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward (premiering July 29, 10 a.m. ET): The year is 2105. The place – New York City. Super architecture, gravity cars and jump shuttle taxis are part of a world where humans and aliens live together in peace and harmony. And now, thanks to a strange twist of fate, this futuristic society will be visited by the four Ninja Turtles – Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello. Conflict and comedy, adventure and humor, fast and fun!

Just in case you haven’t been involved in the whole “Lost Experience” webgame over the summer (like me), Rachel Blake has posted an FAQ / recap on her blog site. It provides some interesting details (spoilers) about what’s going on on Lost.. 🙂

TheDigitalBits has the disc-by-disc specs for the November 14th DVD release of King Kong: 3-Disc Deluxe Extended Edition. The 13-minute-longer version of the 2005 remake will be split across the first two discs, and a lot of special features on the third disc. They also have a look at the statue to be included for the Gift Set version..

Warner has opted to pull all copies of the Harry Potter movies from store shelves. So if you haven’t gotten them yet, I suggest you get them now. Or wait for the obvious upcoming re-releases. Sorcerer’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban will be gone by December 29th 2006, then Goblet of Fire will disappear by February 9th 2007. :/

There were many things to do online last night, so I didn’t get to sleep until after 3:30AM.. I awoke after 10AM the next morning, had some breakfast, and soon watched last night’s installments of Nightmares & Dreamscapes: From The Stories Of Stephen King (i personally liked the first one about the demon painting more than the second one about a treasure hunt). My dad took off for a few more groceries, but soon returned. Once I was done watching those, I got online for a bit. But then I was unable to watch Passions because my dad chose to stay outside while checking the mail. Grrrrr.

I just transferred the TMNT shorts I was able to capture to VHS instead (wanted to get them on the start of the new tape before the new season on Saturday morning), then watched Passions when he came in. I went to my bedroom DVR next and watched a new-to-me Ned’s Declassified (wow @ season finale) and Stan Lee’s Lightspeed. I watched the cheaply-made superhero film for as long as I could.. but I got a headache over it and gave up. So I got online to news-gather instead. We had some supper. Once I was done, I wasted time with the cat.. and online.

Once I returned to the living room, my dad came in early. There was nothing new to watch, so we just watched the That 70s Show repeats. Then we watched America’s Got Talent (i was hoping the magician would make it through.. but i doubted it in reality) and Windfall (the two storylines that interested me were pretty good.. did I forget to mention that Wild Force‘s Ilia “Master Org” Volok has appeared in the last two episodes as an all-Russian-speaking convict? oops.. and I hear this one takes place in Indiana too :p ). My dad bitched at me again about taking away my money. I should really stop talking about my upcoming DVD purchases in front of him. But the only one who cares about that stuff is rarely on AIM. *shrug*

KyL416 has revealed to FunaroBoard the official logo for next year’s Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. I like it.. Meanwhile, Shadowzord reveals some casting info to RangerBoard.. last week.. *cough* *runs away*

Oh, did I forget to mention that Disney Video finally put up a listing for the Power Rangers Mystic Force: Dark Wish – The Blockbuster DVD? Ah well, there wasn’t anything there worth writing home about anyway. Until now. Disney has changed the cover art for the third time now, in order to add a mention of Jetix across the bottom. Ugh. -_-

AintItCoolNews reports on the Spider-Man 3 panel at the Sand Diego Comic-Con. Watch out for some new spoilers though. Also, here’s a look at the character posters seen at the panel..

Warner Bros has now placed its rejected Aquaman pilot on iTunes. Thanks for putting it someplace where I can’t get to it. And I wanted to see it. Grr. 😡

MSN, HDNet and G4 will all share the off-network repeat rights to FOX’s Arrested Development. G4 would be the last channel I’d expect Arrested Development to be on. -_- MSN will have the episodes online later this year, while HDNet starts the series in September and G4 in October..

The N has issued a press release announcing that they have green-lit the second half of Beyond The Break‘s first season. Even though the episode list having all twenty episode titles of the first season leads me to believe they’ve been in production for awhile. :p Nonetheless, all nine episodes so far will air in a marathon on Thursday, July 27th from 8PM to 12:30AM ET, before the “season finale” debuts on July 26th at 8:30PM ET.. *shrugs*

Click here for the Best Buy, Circuit City & Target retailer ads for the week of July 20th to August 5th. If you haven’t purchased Spider-Man or Matrix yet, now is the time. $3.99 for each Spidey film and $4.99 for each Matrix at Best Buy.. That Best Buy exclusive Special Edition of V For Vendetta is tempting. But I think I’ll stick with the regular Two-Disc SE, which I may get at Target due to the bonus comic book and lenticular cover. 🙂

I had a horrible dream about my dad re-arranging everything I own, possibly spawned from the cat thing the night before. 😦 ..I awoke in the morning, had a little breakfast, then my dad took off on another hospital appointment. I watched Making The Video (Justin Timberlake – Sexy Back *yawn*) then got online for a bit. Before I knew it, my dad came back. We soon watched Passions (*shrug*), then my dad took off again. So I watched Oban Star-Racers (awesome). Even after my dad returned, I didn’t feel like watching the movie I had planned to watch. After a while, I got online early instead and soon news-gathered. We had some supper, then I finished up online close to 7PM..

First, I went to my bedroom DVR and watched Life On Mars (pretty interesting start, i liked it.. a bit similar to Lost, in that it only has a tiny bit of sci-fi added in so far, not to mention a bigger mystery only beginning to be introduced). Then I returned to the living room and watched America’s Got Talent (it was okay). My dad came in from outside a bit late, almost screwing up the night. We watched the last Blue Collar TV ever (those Larry the Cable Guy commentaries were probably the best part of these last episodes.. but I see why they would cancel it) and Dog Bites Man (lol, especially the last part). After all that, I returned to my room for the night.

I sometimes wonder why we were placed here on this planet. And why it seems there’s no real meaning to our existence except to make more of us.. See ya.

veronica mars sdcc / dc universe dvd / 4kids vod / spidey3 imax / narnia ee art / media buys / today

July 25, 2006

TheFutonCritic provides a report of the Veronica Mars panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, which includes insight into the next season. I think it’s a good idea to run three main mysteries across the season instead of one. The bus crash thing last year seemed a bit stretched to me..

DVDActive has a few more details on those upcoming DC Universe straight-to-DVD films. Justice League: The New Frontier, Superman: Doomsday, and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract won’t be set in the alternate universe of the Batman, Superman & Justice League animated series, but all three films are intended to be rated PG-13. Cooool. 🙂

Video On Demand is the new thing. Anime Network is becoming pretty popular and Jetix & FUNimation recently launched their own VOD channels. Now 4KidsTV will launch their own VOD channel on Comcast in August, featuring never-before-seen episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Lucky bastards. 😦

Columbia Pictures’ Spider-Man 3 to be Simultaneously Released to IMAX Theatres in May 2007 — *yay’s*

DavisDVD now has a look at what to expect on December 12th upon the DVD release of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe – Four-Disc Extended Edition. That’s some serious LotR Extended ripoffage. :p

I awoke in the morning to my dad taking off again. He must go to the handout place today. Our fridge is virtually empty and we’re virtually broke. Barely anything left to eat or drink. Too bad they usually don’t give us much.. I got online for a bit, then watched some morning TV. My dad soon returned with not all that much, as expected. After a bit, I went out media buying..

First, I headed to Circuit City and decided to buy Final Destination 3 there. They have the exclusive comic book (new story) and the lowest price ($13.99). Best Buy had it for $15.99 with a free ticket to Snakes On A Plane.. Best Buy was where I headed next. There, I just bought Chappelle’s Show: Lost Episodes Uncensored for the lowest price ($11.99). After that, I went to the grocery store and spent the rest of my money on some groceries (then a stop for the usual Icee). And now we’re both broke..

We returned home, had some lunch and soon watched Passions (*still hates Jared*). Once that was over, I had planned to watch Final Destination 3. But my dad took off to try and borrow some money from his sister.. who’s getting kicked out of their home soon. 😦 SO I got online to inventory the new DVDs instead. This new Diet Pepsi Jazz Strawberries & Cream I got at Kroger tastes pretty good. I’d like to try the “Black Cherry & French Vanilla” version next time.. Luckily, my dad returned early (she wasn’t home) and we watched Final Destination 3. I really enjoyed this movie. I thought the first one was pretty good, but the second one wasn’t as great. So I’m very glad Glen Morgan & James Wong, who made the first, came back to do this third one. Definitely worth the purchase if you enjoyed the first film. This one was even better than the first, in my opinion. Already can’t wait for #4. 🙂 I’ll have to try out the interactive viewing feature later, which turns the movie into a “choose your own adventure” kind of thing..

Once I was done looking through the DVD’s bonus features, I got online to news-gather. I wasted time and didn’t finish up before 7PM. I watched two more episodes of Dead Like Me (this is looking more and more like a must-own series on DVD 🙂 ), followed by the new Eureka (pretty damn cool). My dad stayed outside all damn night. I caught a little of the ECW wrestling BS afterward, and laughed as the hits plainly didn’t even hit the guy. *rolls eyes* I returned to my room and wasn’t feeling too great as I finished up the news-gathering. Then the cat had to run in and knock over some of my crap. I lashed out quite harshly, then later apologized. I’m such an asshole. 😦

See ya.

[Current Music Download|Justin Timberlake – SexyBack (Dirty) @ SendSpace]

AintItCoolNews & TheFutonCritic have reports on what went down at the San Diego Comic-Con’s Lost panel. There’s some nice details on what to expect in the coming seasons and on the Season 2 DVD set. I hope Hurley’s mobisodes are on the Season 3 DVD. 🙂

Warner Brothers Video and DC Comics are joining forces to begin a series of DC Universe direct-to-DVD movies. Two or three movies per year are expected to be released. The slate for 2007 includes Justice League: The New Frontier, Superman: Doomsday & Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. Coooool. These’ll most likely beat those Marvel direct-to-DVD movies right out of the water. So can’t wait. 🙂

Now here’s something I wasn’t expecting at all. DVDActive has details on a DVD release of The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe – Four-Disc Extended Edition. Extended by 15 minutes, it will arrive just in time for Christmas on December 12th, and will be available in stores for seven weeks only in the basic Four-Disc for $42.99 SRP and Gift Set (with heirloom bookends made by WETA) for $79.99 SRP. I liked this film quite a bit, so I’ll probably double dip. :/

Toon Zone has some new anime news from the San Diego Comic-Con. Karas, Volume 2: The Revelation has been pushed back from its September release date to sometime in July 2007. Meanwhile, Manga are trying to get their hands on the “Renewal Versions” of the Neon Genesis Evangelion movies (I hope they do, that’s the only way I’ll double dip) and the movie Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex – Solid State Society is tentatively scheduled for US release in Summer 2007.. Also, Quentin Tarantino wants to make two Kill Bill anime prequels: an origin film on Bill and his mentors, and an original story focused on The Bride. Cool..

This is some very unfortunate news. Mako, who was just announced as being the voice of Splinter in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CGI film, has passed away at the age of 72. 😦

I really don’t know why every single thing that can go wrong does. I thought I solved my shitty VCR overheating problem. I have to have the fan on it the whole time. But now the VCR is starting to just shut off at room temperature for no gawdamn reason. As if some kind of higher power was doing it just to be amused over my pissed off reaction. I thought it was the tape at first because it had shut off during a recording in a similar way before, near the end of a tape. But I started a new tape and it still did it. Grrr. It’s what I get for buying a damn VCR from Wal-Mart. Thanks to this, I didn’t get to sleep until sometime after 3AM..

I awoke in the morning and had some breakfast. Then we watched last night’s Chappelle’s Show (lol.. still see why he left though.. I heard they were forcing all these stupid sketch ideas on him) and The Simple Life (lol, a little less fake than the first 3 seasons) before my dad took of for another hospital appointment. I watched some Price Is Right, then got online for a bit. Next, I watched Full Metal Alchemist DVD episodes 33 & 34 (awesome).. and got online again. I’ve finally uploaded some crap to my Multiply account. Since you’re able to upload music, video and photos, I wonder what my upload limit is. Hmm..

Eventually, my dad returned home. We watched Passions (ugh @ Theresa’s new guy) and had some supper, then I got online to news-gather. Then I watched the latest episode of Power Rangers Mystic Force — 1621: “Koragg’s Trial”. This episode was awesome. Since it was structured differently than most episodes, it seemed longer. Koragg goes into battle against the Rangers and is interrupted by Imperious. Koragg stops his virus from attacking the Rangers’ Megazord because Imperious is fighting without honor. Koragg is soon charged with treason. While the Rangers paint an outer wall at Rock Porium, the trail ensues, complete with a lot of flashback sequences. Then Koragg & Imperious both fight Solaris Knight, deciding the one to destroy him wins. The other Rangers eventually get in the way though and the battle intensifies. The Rangers win as usual, the villains take off. After all that, Toby praises the Rangers’ bad work and the Master rules on Koragg’s side and returns his magic to him. But then while walking away, Koragg gets another flashback: a baby wrapped in red. Who could this be? :p ..This Saturday at 6:30PM ET on Toon Disney — 1622: “Heir Apparent” (Part 1): “Nick, I am your father.” “Nooooooo!” Or something like that. But all the promo shows is Koragg wanting to steal the Rangers’ new Legend powers. :p

I got online for a bit. When it reached 8PM, I watched the new Kyle XY (awesome episode.. and next week looks even better.. I hope this eventually gets released on DVD). I had a problems with the VCR afterward. The damn tape got stuck in it after taping the whole thing just fine. Grrrr. Now I’ll probably have to start the next tape one episode early. 😦 ..When 9PM came around, my dad wanted to watch some country music concert crap, so I returned to my room and got online for a bit. Then played with the cat for a bit (lol @ him acting as if he wanted me to stay in the living room.. but not with me :p). Then finally returned to my room for the night.

I was watching that idiot Jack Van Impe the other night (er, listening while the TV was idling) and he was talking all about how God was coming to save us from Armageddon. What if that’s the true reason our planet is going to hell? We pollute it, start wars and everything else. “Eh, who cares about Earth. God’ll fix it.”, I bet they say. Bush is repealing a lot of environmental safeties. Perhaps because he wants to see this Armageddon in person. But what if God doesn’t exist? What if we’re ruining this planet beyond repair and we’re all doomed to die on it? There’s a theory that Mars was once a lot like Earth. But the inhabitants of that planet stopped caring for the environment and their civilization was destroyed. Some even believe a part of that civilization came to Earth and seeded its human life. But what planet do we have to escape to? ..See ya..

Sunday 07.23.2006 — sunday, sunday, sunday.. yup, still difficult..

The main English dub cast for Bleach has been announced at Comic-Con, and three of them are Power Rangers alums (two of which only doing voice work).. I should really be getting to sleep about now. *runs off*

I awoke in the morning pretty close to 10AM. I watched Samurai 7 (pretty good), Eureka 7 (awesome) and some X-Play. I also fit some breakfast in there somewhere. But I wanted to be nice and gave the living room TV over to my dad an hour or so early.. :p

After some time online, I went to my bedroom DVR and watched Blade: The Series (pretty good.. but too bad SPD‘s Brandon J. McLaren’s character didn’t die), Hex (whoa, totally wasn’t expecting that ending) and Thunderbirds (the crappy Spy Kids ripoff, not the TV series.. it barely kept me interested.. except when the chicks were on-screen, including that one from High School Musical, yum.. the “girl power” moments were pretty stupid though *girl trekking through jungle just fine* *guys following behind all winded and whining* *Lady Penelope making some comment while fighting about guys being weak*). And now there’s nothing..

I got online for a while. We had another fast food supper, then he was gone by the time I returned to the living room. I watched some of Funniest Videos, Zoey 101 & Just For Kicks. Then followed that up with The 4400 (pretty good.. except when my VCR screwed up during taping), Mind of Mencia (lol) & Reno 911! (rofl, funniest episode so far this season). After all that, I returned to my room for the night.

I just don’t know what to write next. I’m pretty close to dropping Truth-Seekers already. I’ve just been too far away from the characters and mythology of it. It’s difficult to remember. And it isn’t like I could go back and read 300+ stories. The new one’s coming out like some lame light-hearted “Scooby Doo” adventure or something. With The Prisoner, I didn’t plan out the storyline the way I usually do nowadays, so I’ve reached a dead end. I had a pretty good twist ending thought up.. but how do I get from where they are to there? *sigh* A part of me even wants to restart Westmont High. I got quite a few comments for that one on FictionPress (probably since it’s more mainstream). It combines Edgemont, Passions and some other things the networks wouldn’t dare show on TV. I also had ideas for a new generation of teenage Truth-Seekers and a new kind of sci-fi ghost story.. I just don’t know what to do. :/

Does anyone recall a network TV movie quite awhile back about a shower of meteors hitting Earth? It was filmed as if it was a real breaking news report. I remember it fooling the adults in the room for quite a bit. I knew it was fake pretty much right away. :p Anyone know the name of it? I’d like to track it down and see it again.. See ya.

Saturday 07.22.2006 — it’s so hard coming up with weekend entry titles

July 22, 2006

[Current Music Download|Nelly Furtado – Maneater @ SendSpace]

I didn’t really wake up until sometime after 8AM, and I didn’t pay all that much attention to 4KidsTV during the morning as I usually do. I’m thinking they won’t be airing the TMNT shorts anymore. I hope that they’re at least released on DVD.. I watched Best Week Ever (lol), Web Junk 20 (lol), Shadow Skill (I taped like two episodes or something off of Encore Action.. but lost interest about 20 minutes into the first one), and eventually GitS SAC 2nd Gig episode 22 & 23. I would’ve preferred 23 on the final volume instead. Great episodes though. *shakes fist @ cliffhanger.. and the last DVD not coming out until the end of September*

I passed on watching that new Power Rangers Mystic Force episode a couple days early on ABC Family. I really hate the bad reception on that channel. But I DVRed in case I changed my mind. :p

I could find nothing better to do, so I rampaged in GTA Liberty City Stories for about.. five hours. And my dad bitched about me playing it all day. I shut it off. And now I’m bored again. 😐

My dad watched some of the CMT Awards, then we had some supper. My dad soon went outside, then I watched Zatch Bell (lol), Making The Video (Jessica Simpson – A Public Affair.. man, these things are shorter than they used to be.. too many commercials), Naruto (awesome), the first two episodes of This Ugly Yet Beautiful World on Anime Network (*shakes fist @ being able to say “shit”, yet covering the girls’ naughty bits with black bars* ..maybe I’ll get the DVDs to check out what I’m missing.. >_>) and BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo (lol crazy). Then it was.. now.. so I returned to my room..

See ya.
