December 31, 2006

11:55AM
I awoke pretty early in the morning, looked through the newspaper’s ads for Tuesday (possibly Wednesday), and finished up last night’s entry. Whoops. Then we had some breakfast and I watched .Hack//Roots (coool) and three more DVD episodes of Buffy: Season 2 (sooo much cooler.. and yay, cliffhanger.. until tomorrow). I followed that up with.. some other things.. But I eventually ran out of things. And so now I’m here. :p

5:25PM
After some time online, I went to my bedroom DVR and watched Herbie: Fully Loaded (haha’s @ the ironicness of Lindsay Lohan starring in a film called “Fully Loaded”.. but I liked it.. damnit.. *wants DVD*) and Raise Your Voice (mmm, Hilary Duff.. *wants DVD* what’s up with the hinted-at-but-never-revealed plot twist? hmm, maybe I’m reading too much into it.. *breaks down crying during the song about the relative who passed away* And the fact that it was about moving on from such a loss when I didn’t just.. made it worse..). *sigh* 😦

12:32AM
I calmed myself down and watched four episodes of the Naruto marathon, mostly consisting of those that I had missed a few weeks back. Then I left a couple of the unwatched ones on the DVR for later. Surprisingly enough, my dad ordered pizza for supper..

We mainly watched some reruns, the local news, and the New Years Eve stuff. Again, I was too into writing more of my pending story. The first chapter is almost done. But with all the changes and additions needed, it’ll probably be awhile before it’s complete on the computer. And even then, I’m unsure in posting something online so.. personal.. under the guise of complete fiction. *shrug* As I said, most of the first chapter is like a narration. And the chapter title explains why: “Life On File”.. :/

So.. happy new year, everybody. Nothing new about it to me, of course.. See ya.

December 30, 2006

4:53PM
I awoke in the morning and watched some music videos and MADTV reruns.. But I soon got tired off all that and watched three more DVD episodes of Buffy: Season 2 (still awesome.. though loud things tried their best to ruin it). As the last episode was wrapping up, the mail arrived with my monthly check. Four days early. And just in time for the banks to close. Perfect. We went all over anyway looking for one that was open. No luck, though. 😦

We returned home and watched a couple movies on FX: America’s Sweethearts and Bedazzled. *shrug* I saw the commercial for Tuesday night’s “FX exclusive” Spider-Man 2: Extended Cut like 2536747 times. :p

11:01PM
We also watched Big Daddy, Deal Or No Deal and Ugly Betty.. I actually didn’t care all that much for the latter two and wrote a whole lot of that story instead. Unfortunately, I wrote it pretty sloppily, so I’ll have to make some changes and additions once I transfer it into the computer. I’m not even sure about the title. That’s why I haven’t revealed the one I have for it right now.. The first chapter will mainly be a narration of the main character’s life up to the present.. with parts taken mainly from my own.. Okay, it’s become like my biography or something. But the ending will probably have the first actual.. scene.. *shrug* It’ll probably suck..

Today was sooo boring (besides Buffy of course). What a great way to usher out another useless year.. See ya.

December 29, 2006

I awoke in the morning and got online for a bit. I watched some morning TV, then finally watched a couple more episodes of TMNT 1987 Vol 6 (*falls asleep* *wakes up* *rewinds* *repeats* ..when compared to the 2k3 series, this one’s just too boring.. I may just pass up the more-expensive 40-episode DVD set in March). After that, I got back online for a bit.. lol @ this negative DVD review for Stan Lee’s Lightspeed. I feel sorry for the reviewer. I DVRed it off of SciFi and gave up on it in under 20 minutes, but he had to watch it to the end..

My dad soon returned from dialysis and we waited for the mail. When it arrived with his check, we went out to a few places and picked up a late lunch. We then returned home and watched Passions (why must it be good for a few weeks, then suck for months at a time? at least it’s pretty good right now). I took a closer look at the closing credits and noticed that not only did Power Rangers Wild Force‘s Phillip Jeanmarie (Max, PRMF Blue) play the role of “Tabloid Reporter”, he also played the role of the masked “Peeping Tom” who raped Fancy.. or probably would have raped Kelly (played by Lightspeed Rescue‘s Monica Louwerens) if she hadn’t took her place. Interesting.. :p

After that, I watched the first three DVD episodes of Buffy: Season 2 (so awesome.. particularly Spike’s debut 🙂 ). Not long after that was over, I got online to news-gather. Since there was still nothing on TV tonight, my dad watched his damn basketball game while I stayed in my room and watched Little Black Book on my DVR. I was expecting romantic-comedy, but it was more romantic-drama. The twist ending surprised me though.. *drools @ model Josie Maran playing.. the model..*

I’m sick and tired of seeing and hearing that damn Grease reality show.. and it hasn’t even started yet. Congrats, NBC! I’m also sick of my dad being like the pro-Bush idiots. He hates Bush like the informed people.. but then says he wants all the troops home so they can bomb all of Iraq. *rolls eyes* ..See ya..

BurgundyRanger has now revealed to RangerBoard that Power Rangers Operation Overdrive is set to premiere on Toon Disney on Monday, February 26th 2007 at 8PM ET. Once again, it will be a one-hour two-part episode. No word on episode titles just yet. But my bet is on “Accelerate Into Overdrive” (Part 1 & 2). 🙂 According to Kyl416, the production number given to this seamless airing of both parts is “S1-01”. In the past, they would give this a post-series episode number, thus revealing how many episodes we were in for this season. Looks like this is yet another piece of information they don’t want us to know. :/

The Adness Entertainment website features a series description and some cast pictures for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Cooool. 🙂 Too bad it seems like we won’t be seeing it on TV until 2008 though.. if it’s picked up..

I awoke in the morning and watched some morning TV. All morning. With some breakfast in between.. Then when 1PM came around, we went out to see Night In The Museum. It’s a pretty good film. And pretty damn funny. I also enjoyed the pre-movie trailers for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Mimzy. Gladly, the children seeing the movie were well behaved.. for the most part. It’s a nice movie to see once anyway.. if here or rental. These are the only two cases in which I want to see a movie in theater: if I can’t wait for the DVD or if it’s good enough to see once.. especially for free. I used the last two free tickets that were due to expire on Sunday (Dec 31st)..

We returned home and watched Passions (pretty good yet again today.. too bad they only write good every once in a while.. *watches as the PR alum he thought would stick around a bit longer be ushered out of the show within the first ten minutes* :/ But they did give his character a full name afterward.. maybe he’ll be back?). Then I got online to news-gather. We had some supper, then finished up at about 8PM. Since there was absolutely nothing new worth watching tonight, we watched 10 Items Or Less (haha) and those last three DVD episodes of Buffy: Season 1 (awesome episodes, especially the finale.. soo looking forward to the new-to-me Season 2 starting tomorrow)..

This last paragraph used to be where I’d say something more meaningful than just a rundown of all the useless things I do every day. But with me losing my human-ness, it’s getting harder and harder to do that. At least I’m not alone. My dad keeps saying, now that one of his kidneys is gone and he must go on a dialysis machine 2-3 times a week, he feels more like a robot than a human being. *sigh* 😦 See ya.

[Current Music Download|Nickelback – If Everyone Cared @ SendSpace]

The Kamen Rider Dragon Knight trailer was taken off YouTube recently, but now it’s back. Only this time, the uploader claims to be Adam Wang, one of the guys behind production of the show. He’s claiming this is one of the three official trailers that will be released, and that the show will be released on February 27th 2007. He also says that Disney has already picked the show up and that they’re currently filming the fifth episode. I’m not sure if he’s telling the truth or not though.. or even if he is Adam Wang.. :/

A whopping 162 images from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CGI film have been released (or possibly leaked?). Beware though, there’s some big spoilers.. 🙂

The Heroes online graphic novel continues to be released on Mondays during the TV series’ hiatus. A four-part saga has begun that introduces a new character named Hana, who will show up when new episodes begin (click here to download the 20MB PDF of Part One). 🙂

I awoke in the morning and pretty much watched music videos on VH1 all morning (Nickelback’s “If Everyone Cared” video was pretty cool). :/ My dad returned from dialysis. We soon had a late breakfast and watched Passions (ooooh @ the wedding cake surprise). And again, a Power Rangers alum appears on Passions. Today, Wild Force‘s Phillip Jeanmarie (aka Max, Blue Ranger) played a tabloid reporter out to reveal secrets. He may just be on the show for a bit, instead of just a couple episodes.. like Jason Faunt (PRTF Red), Selwyn Ward (PRT Red) and Monica Louwerens (Ms Fairweather)..

After that, I watched a little of Montel (for Sylvia Browne’s 2007 predictions) before giving up on it and watched three more episodes of Buffy: Season 1 (ooh, it got really good after and including “Angel”.. I’ll probably start Season 2 by Friday). Once those ended, it was after 5PM. So I got online to news-gather once again. We had supper, then I made a little more time for the pending new story. I finished up online close to 8PM..

We began watching King of Queens wrongfully thinking it was new beforehand. :/ Then just watched a rerun of Two & A Half Men, followed by Funniest Commercials 2006 (rofl @ most of the commercials.. rolls eyes yet again @ quite possibly the worst host segments for this special series ever) and ABC Primetime: Basic Instincts (haha @ the Candid Camera type stuff). My dad headed off to bed early because he wasn’t feeling great and I transferred something else to VHS..

Whew. See ya.

screw-on head / knights promo / dvd ads dec 31-jan 6 / today

December 26, 2006

Lionsgate will release the SciFi Channel special The Amazing Screw-On Head onto DVD on February 6th 2007, including widescreen and full screen versions, a few featurettes and a collectible comic book for only a $14.98 SRP. Neat. 🙂

ABC is going in new and crazy directions to promote their new comedy The Knights of Prosperity, premiering on January 3rd at 9PM ET. According to this press release, they’ve gone to malls and purposefully dropped wallets and handed people fake expensive receipts as if they had just dropped them. lol. Too bad the Cash Grab Booth events are nowhere near me.. :p

Click the corresponding retailer for their ad for the week of December 31st 2006 to January 6th 2007: Best Buy, Circuit City & Target. There’s some pretty fair deals on The Covenant. My Best Buy had it in stock already today, but for $19.99. :/ I wasn’t planning on it, but I may just get Snakes On A Plane too.. at Circuit City with bonus disc for only $14.99. And while I’m there, I might as well pick up another Buffy season or two for only $17.99 each. :p

I awoke in the morning, got ready, and went out media buying right away..

First, I headed to Best Buy and picked up Simple Life 4. I price-matched it down from $14.99 to $12.99, then used my $5 Reward Zone and $5 Gift Card, and only paid $3.47. And it was easier than I thought. Yay.. We moved on to Kroger and got some groceries, then I actually got a hot chocolate instead of an icee. Too damn cold out today.. We returned home and watched some more TV. Then had some late breakfast and inventoried the new DVD. Grr @ it being double-sided again..

We watched Passions (haha), then I watched three more episodes of Buffy: Season 1 (I especially enjoyed “The Pack”.. again). That ended at about 4:30, so I just got online to news-gather. We had some supper, but then stayed online later than usual. I downloaded some MP3s, then prepared a new CD burn. We watched the new hour of Big Day (rofl.. okay, I wants this on DVD too), then I left my dad with the Kennedy Center Honors thing while I burned another CD..

Monday 12.25.2006 — a not-as-crappy non-christmas day

December 25, 2006

[Current Music Download|Dido – Christmas Day @ SendSpace]

12:43AM
I did this whole “Dear Santa” meme thing and got a naughty one.. but then kept reloading until I got one that I liked more. :p

Dear Santa…

Dear Santa,

This year I’ve been busy!

In August I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn’t glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points). In January I helped across the street (6 points). Last Thursday I pulled ‘s hair (-5 points). Last Monday I gave a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). In May I signed my organ donor card (28 points).

Overall, I’ve been naughty (-933 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Sincerely,
prometheusufo

Dear Santa…

Dear Santa,

This year I’ve been busy!

Last Monday I pulled ‘s hair (-5 points). Last Thursday and I donated clothes to the needy (11 points). In January I gave a Dutch Oven (-10 points). Last Saturday I farted in an elevator (-6 points). In March I ruled Iran as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points).

Overall, I’ve been nice (690 points). For Christmas I deserve a Sony Playstation 3!

Sincerely,

9:33AM
I awoke in the morning, watched some crap TV and had some breakfast. Then I couldn’t find a straw I use just about every day.. after my dad threatened to start throwing away stuff that was in that certain area. He denied it, but I bet he did it anyway. He must think I’m retarded or something. He’s been throwing away little things of mine without warning for a while now. They’d just just disappear and he’d deny it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he stole those DVDs and sold them. My dad sure didn’t care much when I told him about it..

11:20AM
What an exciting Disney World Christmas Day Parade. *10 seconds of parade* *5 minute ad for Disney World or Land* *commercials with plenty of Disney-related products / movies / resorts* *5 more seconds of parade* *unrelated musical performance* *repeat* >_> They showed the Power Rangers parade float from the Disney MGM parade for like two seconds though.. :/

4:05PM
My dad made our own Christmas dinner.. at noon. Usually, he takes the easiest way out when cooking. Hmm.. He was on the phone again with his sister too. It sounded as if they really wanted us to come. But just because my dad doesn’t want to, I’m doomed to follow. *sigh* We got stuffed and watched the first three episodes of Buffy: Season 1 (pretty good start.. I wanted a refresher before watching the newly-purchased / never-seen seasons). Pouts @ the differences in DVD packaging. My Buffy: Season 1 folds out and regally says “Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Complete First Season on DVD”. While the new packaging on Season 2 & 3 are just “Season Three”. :/ But as long as there’s no special features missing, I prefer the new thinpak case versions. Once those were over, I didn’t feel like watching the crap and reruns on every channel. So I’m back online..

11:04PM
I got online for a few hours, but soon got bored of it.. I joined my dad in the living room. We eventually watched Deal Or No Deal (haha @ Big Bird) and 1 Vs 100 (haha @ Santa’s wrong answer). I also played with the cat some more..

Blah blah blah. See ya.

Sunday 12.24.2006 — krdk trailer / tmnt cgi pics / crappy non-christmas eve

December 24, 2006

Just couldn’t hold on to these until Tuesday…

A trailer for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight has been leaked and uploaded to YouTube. It’s over two and a half minutes of awesome. Check it out. You may also download a 22MB MPG file version at SendSpace (or on my 4Shared).. Also, Golden Media Group has a little webpage with a list of crew credits for the Dragon Knight pilot. *still hopes for a pick-up next month*

SuperHeroHype now has higher resolution versions of a new poster and images from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CGI film. Awesome.. They also have a look at what the CGI Silver Surfer will look like in next summer’s Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer.. 🙂

11:48AM
I awoke at 5:30AM to a call my dad received. :/ But then I fell asleep again for awhile.. I looked through the newspaper’s ads for Tuesday, then had some breakfast and watched .Hack//Roots (pretty cool). Then we watched yet another Christmas DVD: Elf.. Once that ended, I watched Beakman’s World before returning to my room.. already.. :p

6:37PM
After some time online, I went to the bedroom DVR once again and watched two episodes of Justice (great episodes.. especially the Christmas one), The Visitation (*people are healed while Jesus statue ‘cries’* *dog digs self out of grave offscreen* I thought this was about aliens damnit *stopsanddeletes*) and Steamboy (I stopped and started between being online at the start.. but that was a pretty good movie). And now I must go.. again..

10:10PM
We had a rather lame supper and watched some reruns of Funniest Videos, Home Makeover and Desperate Housewives. I didn’t really pay all that much attention.. When Brothers & Sisters started, I had to get outta there.

Again — Happy holidays, you lucky bastards.. who actually get presents.. and have family members.. and are able to experience happiness. See ya..

December 23, 2006

2:03AM
Yup, I’m just now getting ready to head to sleep. Since an opportunity has arisen to get Buffy DVD seasons for only $18 each next month, I prepared to watch Seasons 1-3 a bit earlier than planned. I will most likely purchase Seasons 4 & 5 now too. :p I also watched some Conan O’Brien and started writing the new story.. Well, off I go.

12:05PM
I awoke in the morning, watched some MadTV reruns, then had some breakfast. Not long after that, I watched South of Nowhere (finale part 1.. awesome), two more episodes of TMNT 87 Vol 6 (*rolls eyes @ some parts* *yawns*) and South of Nowhere (finale part 2.. omg @ cliffhanger ending that most likely won’t be resolved until the fall 😦 .. I had to do them separate because I don’t trust the VCR to keep running for both while stopping and starting for commercials). Then I watched a little The Girls Next Door to waste the time (hmm, I wonder how uncensored that Season 1 DVD is :p).. Now My dad’s vacuuming. We’re expecting guests for the first time in a while so yeah..

4:47PM
My dad wanted to watch the Christmas DVDs that I had out but recently put away. So I took them back out and we watched Christmas Vacation and Bad Santa: Unrated.. Then my dad started on supper as I got online for a bit.. These movies really made him think about Christmas.. how this is the worst one we’ve had so far. *rolls eyes*

11:07PM
We had supper, then watched Home Alone on DVD (great movie.. *notices dirty frames* but I must purchase the new DVD edition next year :p). Not long after that, I watched Naruto (cooool), Zatch Bell (neat), Prince of Tennis (um.. hm) and Mar (ooh, I liked that 🙂 ). Then I returned to my room for the night. Our expected guests never arrived.. today, anyway..

Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays. Etc. At least someone will be happy.. See ya.

[Current Music Download|Justin Timberlake – Dick In A Box (SNL / Uncensored) @ SendSpace]

Bandai America has updated their website with some Power Rangers Operation Overdrive toys. What’s up with Red Ranger having two Turbo Drill figures? One is red and the other is green. The latter one is even dubbed “Green Ranger”. There’s also a Red/Green Ranger vehicle. And if that wasn’t weird enough, there’s a Black/Orange Ranger vehicle too. Hmm.. haha’s @ the Torque Force Blue Ranger because it looks like he has one of those winter hats on or something.. :p

The Warner Premiere line of crap straight-to-DVD sequels & prequels begin to waste space on store shelves on March 20th 2007 with The Dukes Of Hazzard: The Beginning. Almost everyone is recast, including Jessica Simpson. The studio is hoping the appearance of Willie Nelson, the only one reprising his role, will be enough to bring in consumers. Oh, and the word “Unrated” written over some breasts on the cover.. If that’s not bad enough, there’s word from DVDSequels.com that the studios are planning more straight-to-DVD gems like Starship Troopers 3, Legally Blonde 3 and Into The Blue 2. And I very much doubt Reese Witherspoon and Jessica Alba are returning for those.. *rolls eyes*

I awoke in the morning and.. watched some morning TV. I got online.. and soon watched two more episodes off the TMNT 87 Vol 6 DVD (I tried to watch a third but fell asleep :/). I then listened to a newly burned CD. My dad arrived home from dialysis has we had another late breakfast. We soon watched Passions (ha @ suddenly speeding the story along a bit in order to tell the story they want to on Christmas.. *rolls eyes @ Fancy going into and out of a coma within one episode and calling it a “Christmas miracle”*).

After that, I went to the On Demand channels and wasted almost two hours watching Ghost Stories episode 7 (haha @ references to Lost, Two & A Half Men, and some other things :p) and some music videos (ooh, the new Music Choice On Demand). Then I played a new Rogue Galaxy PS2 demo disc a little bit. It arrived in the mail today from PlayStation Underground, complete with flag and poster. Neat. The game itself is some space pirate RPG thing (hence the pirate-like flag). I may just purchase it.. when it gets really cheap..

I returned to my room before 5PM and got online to news-gather. We had some supper, then I finished up close t o8PM. We watched Identity (wow, I’m getting tired of it already. .except maybe for being able to stare at the hottie “strangers”, like the controversial Miss USA 2006 in this episode.. in a bikini :p), 1 vs 100 (this episode was surprisingly interesting) and The Soup (lol soo funny). I also caught some Wildest Dating Show Moments (:p) and the start of Best of Web Junk 2006 (barely any new footage = I’m out.. the clips from the previous host still have him hosting them :/).

But I ended up coming up with how the more autobiographical elements could connect with the alien contact elements in my story idea. I wrote up a quick paragraph description and came up with a title. Yay. I may even start writing before the night is out. See ya.
