Click the corresponding retailer for their ad for the week of September 14th to 20th: Best Buy, Target & Circuit City. This is going to be the heaviest DVD week of the month for me.. I’m surprised that Chuck: Season 1 doesn’t have any exclusives from any of these stores. Best Buy and Target are offering it for its best deal though — $27.99. Pushing Daisies: Season 1 will be going for only $24.99 at Best Buy, but Target will offer it for $29.99 with an.. “exclusive book”. No other details. :/ ..Best Buy once again has their usual Dragon Ball Z deal: buy both DBZ Season 6 ($39.99) and DBZ Double Feature 3 – Movies 3 & 4 ($19.99) on the same receipt and get both for just $45. Nice. Though if you’re just in for the DBZ season, Circuit City is offering it for just $29.99.. The box office flop Speed Racer is arriving onto disc with little fanfare as well. Target offers a $22.99 “Deluxe Edition” with Digital Copy.. and no other details (could it be Target’s bonus disc sold separately a few months back.. that I already own?).. as Circuit City also touts a Digital Copy but for the lowest price of $14.99.. Both seasons of Dexter are now $19.99 each at Target (get it now, awesome show), and Prison Break: Season 3 is already being offered at $24.99 as well (*waits for $19.99*).

Comics Continuum now has episode titles, spoiler descriptions and a couple images for the first two episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Back To The Sewer. The first episode airing this coming Saturday, September 13th at 9:30AM ET is “Tempus Fugit”. That’s followed by “Karate Schooled” on the following Saturday, September 20th. So far, it only sounds like Fast Forward with a new setting. We’ll see.. I was pessimistic about Spectacular Spider-Man as well. See how that turned out? :p

I awoke pretty early in the morning. Oops. I got online to finish the previous entry, the n read a couple more issues of 52 (sad to see The Question die.. he was one of my favorites on the animated Justice League series, for obvious reasons :p). We had some breakfast, watched some TV, then we soon got ready and headed out to media buy..

First, I headed to Borders.. and got nothing. I was wanting to get a look at the Death Note Vol 1 Collector’s Edition manga.. but Borders takes forever to stock anything.. I moved on to WalMart.. and also got nothing. Then I headed over to Best Buy and purchased Smallville: Season 7 (wow, the comic is 40 pages.. have hard time getting the digipak in and out of the slipcover :p), Spectacular Spider-Man: Attack of the Lizard (I downloaded the episodes, then downloaded a rip of this DVD.. but I wanted to support this great show, so I had to purchase it.. I hear Sony’s going to be looking at the DVD sales to help decide whether or not to pick it up for Season 3.. and Best Buy only had two copies, assholes.. WalMart had more and only for a few measly cents cheaper) and some DVD-Rs. Memorex 50pk was in the ad for $12.99, but Verbatim was going for the same price so I got them instead.

We soon returned home, then I got online to inventory the new discs. Next, I watched the first four episodes of Smallville: Season 7 (pretty good.. got a kick out of seeing Supergirl’s unfinished special effects in a deleted scene *Supergirl blows air normal-like* *Chloe shoved against wall by wind* *Supergirl runs out of room, looking like bad claymation* :p). Once those ended, I got online to news-gather.. and we soon had some supper.

I finished up online by 8PM, then we watched America’s Got Talent (pretty good, I guess.. soo glad they finally wised up about the zooperstars.. but its still too late, the judges’ damage has been done), followed by the series premiere of Fringe (unlike True Blood, I couldn’t really get into seeing the first episode again.. perhaps because so few changes were made between the leaked version and this one.. I mostly just noticed new music.. and for the most part, it was just so.. boring.. it gets a bit more interesting during the latter half, but they better get in gear with the following episodes). I fell asleep near the end, most likely due to waking up so early this morning. Once it ended.. that was about it..

Yeah.. see ya..
